The Pop Shoppe has a long history in the hearts, minds, and tastebuds of many people in Ontario. Growing up in Southern Ontario, The Pop Shoppe soda was a staple in our house. It is a memory of my childhood that I never outgrew. As kids, we were so excited when our father brought home a case of those iconic "stubby" bottles with the red label and white stripes. To this day, many years later the sight of a bottle of Pop Shoppe lime ricky floods me with memories of days gone by.

After a long absence, The Pop Shoppe returned to the market in 2005 with a bang to a customer base that was eager to patronize smaller, more local brands. Now Pop Shoppe pop is loved world wide and is a hit with both people who remember the brand, and to a younger generation who just find it 'cool'*

Elora Sculpture Project
