The History of PEZ

PEZ Candy

Did you know:
PEZ candy was originally only available in peppermint?
It was developed in Vienna in the late 1920's and the name is condensed from peppermint in German: "Pfefferminz".
The First dispensers had no novelty head that we have come to know today. In fact, they were designed to look like cigarette lighters as a way to encourage people to quit smoking.
Today, Pez dispensers come with a wide variety of licensed characters heads from Disney, Warner Bros. cartoons, US presidents, celebrities, comic book characters, and so much more.

Riverfest Elora

Riverfest Elora is this Saturday, August 25th, 2012
Come down to Bissell Park in Elora for what promises to be a fun time for everyone.
This is Elora's annual celebration of music and community.

Elora GreenSpace

Recently, the town of Elora converted an old gas station lot (and community eyesore) at the corner of Mill & Metcalfe St into a lovely little 'green space' for all to enjoy.
The grand opening of the green space took place Thursday August 9th, 2012.

This (now) lovely corner of our charming town is a welcome site for residents, business owners, and visitors alike.
Next time you are in Elora, take a relaxing break from your shopping  and sight seeing in this beautifully landscaped sculpture garden and enjoy the beauty of downtown Elora.

We are a new store located on Mill St W in beautiful Elora, Ontario on the picturesque Grand River.
Elora is a 20km drive northwest from Guelph, Ontario, 30km northeast of Kitchener/Waterloo.
In addition to the natural beauty that abounds, Elora has many fine shops, art galleries, attractions, and restaurants.
